Kayla Wengronowitz is a Minneapolis criminal defense attorney committed
to protecting the rights, freedoms, and futures of clients facing all
types of criminal charges. A tireless advocate for the accused, Kayla
is passionate about guiding clients through unfamiliar legal proceedings
and difficult life experiences. Her nonjudgmental and collaborative approach
enable her to fully address the needs and objectives of the men and women
she represents, and to work effectively with prosecutors and court officials
in a professional manner.
Kayla earned her B.A. in Criminology from the University of Minnesota Duluth,
and received her J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. Prior to graduating
law school and being admitted to the Minnesota State Bar, Kayla was a
certified student attorney for two years working both with the Minnesota
Innocence Project and the Washington County Attorney’s Office. At
the Washington County Attorney’s Office, she was the lead Law Clerk
assisting on serious felony cases as well as representing the state in
petty misdemeanor, misdemeanor, and gross misdemeanor cases. That position
allowed Kayla to gain courtroom and trial experience through a wide variety
of criminal charges.
Kayla enjoys thoroughly researching and litigating evidentiary issues.
She uses her unique background experiences to her advantage and provides
clients with the time and attention their cases deserve.
