Joseph Tamburino Featured on Fox 9 News to Discuss MoA Protest Charges

Last December, thousands of people watched as police brutality protestors conducted a peaceful demonstration at the Mall of America (MoA). According to the Facbook page of the “Black Lives Matter” movement, at least 3,000 people confirmed that they would attend the protest.

Now, 11 people are facing criminal charges for participating in the event. Law enforcement arrested an additional 14 people at the demonstration, but Bloomington City Attorneys have not pressed charges against them.

In response to the charges, over 100 ministers and other religious leaders pleaded with the city attorneys to halt the charges and focus on fighting racial disparity in the local community instead. However, city prosecutors insist on bringing charges against 11 of the people arrested in connection to the protest.
