However, during the trial, Judge Tunheim ruled that the company’s founder, Bill Austin, perjured himself. This motion comes as a serious blow to the government’s case. However, in this case, the ruling occurred during the middle of the trial. The jury must now make a decision without considering the perjured testimony.
