Super Lawyers 2021

Caplan & Tamburino Law Firm Attorneys in 2021 Super Lawyers®, Rising Stars

At Caplan & Tamburino Law Firm, our attorneys have devoted their careers to representing clients in both criminal and civil courts. We are proud to work tirelessly to achieve favorable case results for those accused of crimes and those who have suffered injuries due to the negligence of others. Our astounding success in and out of court has resulted in the selection of two of our attorneys to 2021 Super Lawyers®, with another one receiving 2021 Rising Stars recognition.

About Super Lawyers® and Rising Stars

Developed by Thomson Reuters subsidiary Super Lawyers®, the Super Lawyers® and Rising Stars guides recognize U.S. attorneys who have demonstrated exemplary legal skills in their practice areas. Candidates for both guides must pass a multiphase selection process in which they are subjected to a 12-category review by the Super Lawyers® research team and a Blue Ribbon Review by a panel of their peers.

The only difference between the two guides is that Rising Stars exclusively recognizes attorneys who are (a) in their first 10 years of practice or (b) no older than age 40. Thus, Super Lawyers® is devoted to recognizing mid- to late-career attorneys. No more than 2.5% of all U.S. practicing attorneys are recognized in Rising Stars, while, working with a bigger candidate pool, no more than 5% are recognized in Super Lawyers®.

Our Attorneys’ Super Lawyers® and Rising Stars Selections

Attorney Caplan, who founded Caplan & Tamburino Law Firm and now serves of counsel, has been previously selected to Super Lawyers® from 1996 to 2005, 2007 to 2010, and 2014 to 2020. Attorney Tamburino, the sole partner of our firm, has also been recognized in previous editions of Super Lawyers®; in fact, he has earned a listing in every edition since 2000. Furthermore, he earned Rising Stars recognition in 1998 and 1999.

As mentioned, one early career attorney at our firm earned 2021 Rising Stars recognition in:

  • Lis M. Carlson (Selected to Rising Stars 2017-2021)
    • Criminal Defense
    • Criminal Defense: DUI/DWI

Our team at Caplan & Tamburino Law Firm is very proud of the fact that three of our attorneys have again been acclaimed by Super Lawyers® in these 2021 guides.
